Project “Veneto Leather District Museum Centre”
“Project financed with the PR Veneto FESR 2021-2027”: The project was implemented thanks to a contribution from the Veneto Region of € 121.338,00, thousand euros, under the PR Veneto FESR 2021-2027. Action 1.3.11 Sub Action A. DGR n. 339/2023. Interventions to support cultural, creative and audiovisual enterprises – Sub A “Consolidation of existing enterprises”.
The project was born with the aim of creating a Museum Center of the Leather District in order to protect the memory and historical heritage of the tanning district of the Chiampo Valley and narrate the challenges of the ecological transition. The museum consists of a laboratory part and an immersive part with video mapping.
